Canceled - PWN Copenhagen: Women And Finance – Financial investments

25 April 2018 17:00 - 21:00 Copenhagen

- Event is canceled -

PWN Copenhagen is happy to announce the second event of our series “Women and Finance”. This evening’s event is focused on getting more insight into the financial market, the obstacles women face to get started with their own investment strategy, as well as how to get more women to invest.

The motivation behind “Women and Finance” is empowering women to own finance related matters, and improve their skills when it comes to personal and business finance. Statistics show that women are increasingly becoming household breadwinners. However, we are worse off when negotiating our salary and we tend to pass the buck on important choices such as investment and retirement.

This evening's event is divided in three parts:

17:00-18:00 Networking Session. We would like to start the event with a networking session, where you can get to know other members in an informal setting, build relations, and get inspired on your next professional opportunity.

18:00-18:10 Women and Finance Kick-off. PWN Copenhagen would like to introduce you to the concept behind the Event Series “Women and Finance”.

18:10-20:00 Presentation, cases & Q&A. We are proud to welcome Karina Storinggaard and Mette Rotbøll of Think Yellow, a company focusing on Gender Lens Investments. During the event, they will introduce us to the mission of Think Yellow, their personal experience with investment and provide insight into the financial community. Karina and Mette will then lay out their view on how to use this insight to get more women to invest and how to make investments benefitting women. On top of this, they will present recent results of Think Yellow's achievments, i.e. the investables they have co-created. Think Yellow's overruling goal is steering more money toward reaching UN SDG5
